Whenever I sit down to post my monthly intros, I try to find an image that captures the mood for that month. This month, a view from my cutting garden felt like the right choice. The gardens are flourishing in the abundant sunshine we’ve been having and summer is in full throttle. The season has felt quite a bit longer than in previous years, but that is most likely due to all my children being home much earlier, and I am grateful for that. Summer is typically so fleeting, but I feel like we are squeezing it for all it is. This month look for my fresh salad recipes and inspiration for fresh meals to prepare with all the abundant produce available at roadside stands. I’ve also added many new items to The Hive Shop, so breeze on over and take a look.
